Silvio and the rest of the team like to thank the Ann Arbor community:
Cheers to your good company and your enthusiastic support of our cooking! Our growth reflects the good taste of this community – we strive to make our Italian cuisine showcase the pride we have in our local family farms and beliefs in maintaining a local, sustainable ecosystem.
Our dishes draw from our long-time favorite farms like Frog Holler Organic Farm (not that produce trucking company), Tantre Farm, Brines Farm, and also new young farms like Seeley Farm that’s being incubated at Tilian Farm Development Center on the Northeast side of town.
We serve our gourmet Italian style pizza that Silvio worked quite meticulously on creating a recipe which is unique to Ann Arbor, and one that you cannot taste anywhere else in the world! The dough is so unique because it is made with locally-sourced organic flour from Westmill sourdough. Our pastas, calzones, sandwiches, salads, and soups are hand-made with as much care and pride as our pizza. Silvio combines his support for his homeland in Michigan and his land of ancestry in Abruzzo, Italy, by having only Michigan and Italian beers and wines in his restaurant. He also features some organic Italian wines as well.
Silvio believes deeply in supporting the local community, and knows that this is how we keep businesses alive and thriving. By giving donations to local businesses and organizations, Silvio continues to see that his belief in give and you shall receive, will pull his family through and allow him to continue doing what he loves, cooking and offering food he takes pride in.
We hope that you will come and enjoy the local musicians who play here, and more recently, our tango dancers who come through on Friday nights after 10 to dance. We love to host a good party!
Remember to sign-up to get on our preferred friends and family e-mail list, and follow our website, twitter, or facebook feeds to know what’s happening next and what’s new to the weekly menu!
Gratzi,
Silvio
